When asked who my favorite designer is I am never sure who to say. There are too many. But one of them is so amazing and blows my mind when I look at his clothes. Christian Lacroix. His couture lines are amazing. The clothes have so much detail and they range from short skirts with frills on them to long elegant dresses with folds and gathers and fabric just floating away from the body. If I could pull it off it public i would so wear some of those clothes. They are amazing. These are pictures of some of the clothes that were in his Fall 2008 Couture Line that were presented on July 1st, 2008. Even though it's not recent news I still felt the need to express how talented he is and how amazing his clothes and designs are. He is quite the genius when it comes to couture designing.

I love him too! His designs appeal to both the fashion world but also the costume and historical world as well. It seems as if most of his designs are inspired from the past but with a more modern appeal that will delight even the most stubborn critics. I'm not sure I would personally wear his creations down the street but give me a costume party and it's his designs all the way.
I could not agree more! Christian Lacroix's designs are so dramatic, yet extremely feminine. His collections are so intricate and fragile looking, they look as though they belong in a museum. Each time I look at one of his stunning dresses, I think about how much time and effort must go into making them.
